Alphacomm was unable to meet its business goals of innovating, scaling up, and building new products and features. The growth of the company was stagnant due to the increasing complexity of its software portfolio. The challenge was to overcome this by getting the right amount of IT expertise to keep growing and stay ahead of the competition.
They decided to form a deep partnership with Typeqast, and together we built a tailor-made solution for all the IT needs of the company. We sent in an Enterprise Architect to overhaul their entire IT process and workflows and built multiple agile teams for Alphacomm’s product lines. Each product line had its own unique needs and challenges which were identified and addressed as appropriate.
Technically speaking, Alphacomm’s platforms run on AWS cloud infrastructure, which we helped overhaul and maintain. The technology stack is primarily PHP and MySQL, with some products also using no-SQL database storage. We also used Docker containers for local environments, testing, and prototyping.
Collaborating with Typeqast has saved Alphacomm from the IT and software crisis they were facing. We have overhauled their processes and provided essential missing skills and roles to stabilize the product platforms. The number of bugs has dramatically decreased, client satisfaction has increased, and features are delivered on time and within budget. Our next goals are to scale up even further and reach the long-term objectives that the client has set by 2025.
Alphacomm chose Typeqast to partner with because we share the same core values. This is very important for them as they envision a long-term and stable partnership with risk and revenue sharing structures in place. Typeqast is able to provide on-demand scaling for new big business opportunities in addition to fulfilling the role of a standard end-to-end IT partner. This allows them to focus on their business strengths, market strategy, and vision. With our strategy and values, we also make sure Alphacomm never has to say no to a potential business opportunity because they lack the means to build and support it! We each do what we’re good at. A win-win!
