In our research amongst 100 CTO’s from the most innovative scale-ups around the world, we found that employing good talent and the costs of development and platform maintenance are at the top of their list. Diving into the challenges within the solutions itself, 67% of CTO’s indicate that improving the user experience of the solution is their biggest challenge.

When asked to rate challenges within the product or solution from largest to smallest, the user experience came out on top, followed by the need to upgrade the technology stack, improving the scalability of the solution, security of the application and lastly the code quality.
